Venice Paintings

For me as an artist, painting in Venice is a magical experience - inspiration everywhere and at all times of the day and year. The early morning atmospheric mist across the lagoon, glowing sunsets over the Grand Canal and sparkling midday light and reflections on the canals. Human activity to, St Mark’s Square or the fish market add interest, and contrast with the occasional figure glimpsed in a quite backwater.
