Portraits and Figurative Paintings

Most of my work is landscape, however, I occasionally like to paint portraits and I would be very pleased to discuss a commission. By its very nature a portrait is very personal and requires a particular approach. I prefer to work in oils in front of the sitter and also use sketches and photo reference for the clothes and perhaps parts of the setting. If necessary, I can work completely from photographs. I will be very pleased to discuss anything you might have in mind.
